HCL’s Respiratory and Spirometry diagnostic hubs are patients with a respiratory condition, such as asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
HCL’s Community Cardiology Service offers care close to home for cardiology patients. It is available to patients with a cardiology condition, such as palpitations or arrythmia, that do not require an emergency referral.
HCL’s Enhanced Access Service means that patients registered at our member Practices can see clinicians in the evenings and at weekends. These appointments take place at two hubs in Westminster and also online.
This service offers non-emergency care close to home for patients with a range of chronic skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis and extensive acne.
Our highly skilled eHub team processes patient requests via PATCHS. Each request is reviewed by a GP and where possible our GP or another clinician will deal with the request.
The service helps type 1 and 2 diabetes patients aged 18+ who are registered with HCL’s member Practices to self-manage their condition and reduce the risk of complications.
By supporting HCL’s four PCNs with administration, learning and development, recruitment and other services, they can focus on providing the best possible care to patients.
We recruit Primary Care roles funded by the ARRS, including Care Coordinators, Dietitians and Paramedics, to help HCL’s member Practices build multidisciplinary teams.
This service uses a digital health platform to support our patients in monitoring their blood pressure from the comfort of their home.
“Some of the sickest and frailest people in the country entrust their care to us and we get to help them make enormous improvements in their lives. I feel immensely privileged to work at The Doctor Hickey Surgery and, as an HCL board member, to be charged with ensuring the wellbeing of all our staff.”
